Hospitality Team
1. Greeting Team: Welcome people at the doors with a friendly smile as they enter church. Arrive early to set up hospitality items and help tear down after service.
2. Sanctuary Team: Operate the Welcome Table, assist people with seating and provide Connect Cards and Giving Envelopes. Arrive early to set up hospitality items and help tear down after service.
Kairos Kids
1. Assistant Teacher - Assist Lead Teacher (elementary or preschool) to welcome children, create excitement/interest in the lesson, and provide care.
2. Lead Teacher - Lead either the elementary or preschool class in activities and stories related to a biblical lesson on Sundays. Includes assisting with set-up on Sunday and preparation of the story, memory verse and activities.
Prayer Team
1. Prayer Team: Pray over the weekly prayer requests, offer prayer for people during worship gatherings (typically post-service), and opportunities to give leadership to prayer initiatives, such as 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting.
Production Team
1. ProPresenter Operator: Utilizes ProPresenter7 to display lyrics and sermon slides as well as any other announcements during worship gatherings. Training will include learning to log in during the week and create the slides. Training dates TBD.
2. Sound Tech: Must have a "good ear" and some experience with music to help those listening and those sharing with the church family. Training dates TBD.
Setup/Teardown Team
1. Setup/Teardown Team uploads carts from the trailer prior to service and takes them to their proper unloading spots. Set up of pipe/drape, moving of pews and other physical labor is required. Arrive early to set up and help tear down after service is required.
Worship Team
1. Musician: Uses instrumental skills and spiritual gifts together to create an environment of worship in coordination with the team. List instrument(s) below in the "other" category.
2. Vocalist: Uses vocal skills and spiritual gifts together to create an environment of worship in coordination with the team.
Discipleship
1. Kairos Community Leader: serve as frontline disciple makers of our church, leading Communities in homes or common spaces whereby people can experience relationships and deep gospel conversations. KC are typically semester based and require a commitment of 2-3 months.
2. Discipleship Cohort Guides: serve as a Guide for gender specific cohorts of 3-4 people who meet for intentional discipleship. Encourage and organize Cohort, empowering members to grow in their faith. Cohorts last between 4-12 months.
Local Outreach
1. Project Leader: give leadership for various drives and needs in the community; commitment to reaching South Brunswick with the love of God.
2. Team Member: help with projects and look for and make connections for further opportunities to serve our community.
3. Good Neighbor Team: help support refugees with foundational needs through our partnership with Alliance for Refugees. Training is offered and serving happens on a need basis.
Global Outreach
1. Connect Leader: connect with our IW's in Waren, Germany, and create strategic communication to Kairos on how to partner and support.
2. Missions Team: travel to Germany to support and serve alongside our IW's in Waren, Germany. Ask a pastoral team member about the next opportunity to Go!
